We offer several pick-up locations, subject to availability and our operating hours.

Important — Payment Required Before Delivery

For any vehicle delivery outside our rental office (airport, ferry terminal, hotel, or any other agreed location), the rental must be paid in full before the vehicle is delivered.

No vehicle will be delivered unless full payment for the reservation has been received.

This policy allows us to fully confirm your reservation and arrange the delivery of your vehicle under the best possible conditions.

Pick-up directly from our rental office: our standard payment terms apply.

Payment and Security Requirements
A valid credit card in the main driver’s name is required for the credit card imprint.
The credit card imprint is taken as a security guarantee. No amount is charged at the time the imprint is processed.
If you do not have a credit card in your name, please contact us before making your reservation to check the applicable rental conditions.

Delivery & Collection

At Island Rent Car Tahiti, we offer a simple and flexible delivery service near the airport.

Hours of operation

7:30 am – 5:30 pm
Free delivery and collection in the airport area during opening hours.

Outside of business hours**

Service available on request, subject to availability:
• 7:00 PM – 11:59 PM : 2,500 XPF / trip
• After midnight - 6:00 AM: 3,500 XPF / trip

Insurance included

All our rentals include Civil Liability (RC) insurance, in accordance with the regulations in French Polynesia.

Basic Coverage

Included without additional options:
• Bodily injury caused to third parties
• Material damage caused to third parties

Important

Damage to the rented vehicle remains the responsibility of the renter, up to the applicable deductible.

Available options

Additional insurance options are available to reduce or eliminate the deductible (SCDW, SCDW+, Premium).

Key points to remember

Basic coverage protects third parties only.
For extended vehicle protection, an additional option is recommended.

• Driving licence: held for at least 2 years
• Mileage: unlimited
• Security deposit: no upfront security deposit required
• Credit card imprint: mandatory, with no charge, using a valid credit card in the main driver’s name
• Insurance: third-party liability insurance included
• Secure payment: payment link, bank transfer, or credit/debit card
• Vehicle delivery: rentals requiring delivery outside our rental office must be paid in full before the vehicle is delivered
