These terms and conditions govern the use of the website and the rental services offered by Island Rent Car Tahiti.

All bookings imply full and complete acceptance of these conditions.

1. Purpose

Island Rent Car Tahiti offers short and medium term tourist vehicle rentals in French Polynesia.

The purpose of the site is to present the available vehicles, prices and associated services.

2. Rental Conditions

To rent a vehicle, the customer must:

– Be at least 23 years old
– Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years
– Present the original license when handing over the vehicle

Island Rent Car Tahiti reserves the right to refuse a rental if the conditions are not met.

3. Booking and confirmation

A reservation becomes final after confirmation and payment according to the terms specified in the quote or contract.

The applicable rates are those indicated at the time of booking.

4. Vehicle Use

The vehicle must be used in accordance with the Highway Code in force in French Polynesia.

It is strictly forbidden:

– To sublet the vehicle
– To use it outside the island of Tahiti without written authorization
– To use it for illegal purposes

The renter is responsible for the vehicle for the entire duration of the rental.

5. Insurance and deductible

Each rental includes mandatory civil liability insurance.

Deductible reduction options can be purchased at the time of booking.

In the event of an at-fault accident, the tenant remains liable for the amount of the deductible corresponding to the option chosen.

6. Payment

The payment terms are specified in the quote or contract.

Island Rent Car Tahiti is not subject to VAT.

7. Cancellation and modification

The cancellation or modification conditions are indicated in the quote or signed contract.

Any changes remain subject to availability.

8. Responsibility

Island Rent Car Tahiti cannot be held responsible for any indirect losses or damages resulting from the use of the vehicle.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (texts, images, logos) is protected by intellectual property law.

10. Applicable Law

These conditions are subject to the law applicable in French Polynesia.
